Assessment Manager, Mathematics

Salary: £41,300 - £46,500
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic team working at our offices in Cambridge to produce top-class assessments. This role is based within the Maths and ICT Group and will suit an experienced Mathematics specialist looking for a new challenge.
What it’s about
The position is located in the Maths and ICT Group and will involve managing a range of qualifications for assessment products ranging from International A Level, IGCSE, and O Level.
What you’ll be doing
You will be working with subject specialists on the production of test specifications, sample material and ultimately the assessment material itself. You’ll be checking, proofing and signing off question papers and mark schemes as well as managing examiners and ensuring the assessments are accurately graded to make sure that results are reliable.
What we’re looking for
An enthusiastic team player who is self-motivating and confident in Mathematics. You will be a Mathematics graduate, with experience in teaching (possibly in an international context) and/or project management, preferably at a senior level and will have some knowledge of assessment issues. A keen problem solver with meticulous accuracy, you will have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and will enjoy contributing to the success of Cambridge International Examinations.
