What it's about
We are currently recruiting a Regional Director, East Asia, to support our dynamic, growing organisation. You will be responsible for realising Cambridge’s development strategy to deliver world-class educational support for schools within the region and will play a leading role in ensuring that the Cambridge Schools and Associates’ network continues to grow. This is a relationship management role working with many different audiences including heads of independent schools, Cambridge Associates and ministries of education.
What you will be doing
You will work closely with our teams in the UK, via a matrix approach, to identify and develop opportunities to support our growth including the running of educational seminars, conferences and other events.
What we're looking for
You will be experienced in developing, motivating and leading a team. This with enable you to manage a team which is responsible for developing and implementing our strategy within the region.
You will be a graduate, preferably with a post-graduate qualification. You will have ideally worked in the international education sector and be familiar with the changing international education landscape as well as educational developments within East Asia. You will be proactive in your approach and passionate about international education and the opportunities it provides around the world.
Exemplary communication and presentation skills are essential. You will be fluent in English and Putonghua. The ability to develop on-going relationships with key stakeholders and influencers at a senior level is also essential. You will have proven business development and strategic account management skills within the international education sector.
