Job Title: Assessment Manager, Languages
Permanent – Full-time
Salary: £35,300 - £39,800
What it’s about
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic team working to produce top-class assessments. This role would suit an experienced Languages specialist. The position will involve managing a range of qualifications, from Cambridge International A Level and Pre-U to Cambridge IGCSE and O Level, in a variety of Languages.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be managing question paper production processes, working with subject specialists on the production of test specifications, sample and live assessment material. You’ll be checking, proof-reading and signing off question papers and mark schemes, as well as managing examiners to ensure that assessments are accurately marked and graded.
What we’re looking for
Enthusiastic team players who are self-motivated and confident in their specialist area. You’ll be a graduate, ideally with experience in teaching (possibly in an international context) and are likely to have knowledge of assessment issues. A keen problem solver with meticulous accuracy, you’ll have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and will enjoy contributing to the success of Cambridge International Examinations.
Owing to the expansion of language provision in the organisation, applicants offering non-European languages are particularly welcome.
